National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE) Resources

A comprehensive resource that will assist both new and veteran homeless liaisons in carrying out their responsibilities. The Homeless Liaison Toolkit includes legal requirements, best practices, sample forms, and links to resources. 

A comprehensive array of issues related to the McKinney-Vento Act and its implementation. 

Allows national, state, and local educators to review previous webinars and training produced by NCHE. Available resources include training presentations, corresponding PowerPoint, and handouts (if available).

The Education for Homeless Children and Youths Program Non-Regulatory Guidance was developed by the U.S. Department of Education as a resource for SEAs and LEAs, providing recommendations for addressing requirements of the law.
