Higher Education

For students experiencing homelessness, the transition beyond high school is filled with both possibilities and challenges. Whether pursuing college, vocational training, military service, or entering the workforce, these young people deserve access to the resources, guidance, and support systems that will help them succeed.

The Beyond High School initiative is designed to strengthen the bridge between K-12 education and postsecondary pathways. Through collaboration with Homeless Liaisons, School Counselors, Higher Education Single Points of Contact (SPOCs), and community partners, we work to ensure that every McKinney-Vento student is equipped with the tools, information, and advocacy needed to navigate their next chapter.
