Subgrants

The North Carolina Education for Homeless Children and Youth subgrant application is now open in CCIP. The deadline for submission in CCIP is February 25, 2020 at 5:00 PM. 

Purpose of Funding: 

To facilitate the enrollment, attendance, and success in school of homeless children and youth.

Eligible Applicants: 

All North Carolina local educational agencies (LEAs) and charter schools with 50 or more students that were identified as homeless during the 2018-2019SY in PowerSchool may apply. LEAs and charter schools with less than 50 reported homeless students may apply as a consortium. Review the application for the guidelines for applying in the CCIP document library.

The McKinney-Vento Subgrant Application, the required attachments to complete the application, and the appendices that should be utilized when applying for funding are located in the CCIP document library.
