NCHE Coffee Break: Understanding Doubled-Up

In this 45-minute webinar, participants will join presenters from the National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE) in an exploration of the issue of doubling-up. Doubled-up is the informal wording used to describe a concept included in the McKinney-Vento Act’s definition of homeless. It refers to shared living arrangements, some of which may be considered homeless, while others may not be, depending on various factors. In this session, designed to provide professional development in a convenient and interactive online format, participants will explore some of these factors in greater detail and have the opportunity to ask questions about concepts covered throughout the session.
