SUMMARY:Sandhills Regional Compliance Forum
DESCRIPTION:All designated homeless liaisons are required to attend a Regional Compliance Forum annually. Attendance is limited to the homeless liaison unless prior approval for another dedicated homeless program staff member is granted by the State Coordinator. In addition\, homeless liaisons must attend the compliance forum in their region unless prior permission is granted.  \n\n\n\nThe purpose of these required forums is to support school district compliance with the McKinney-Vento Act. In addition to in-depth compliance-focused discussions\, the forum will provide opportunities for collaboration\, sharing of best practices\, and exploration of strategies for addressing common challenges in serving students experiencing homelessness.
