The purpose of this funding is to facilitate the enrollment\, attendance\, and success in school of homeless children and youth. The deadline for submission in CCIP is February 20\, 2026\, at 12:00 PM.

SUMMARY:Partnering with your Local Continuum of Care for a Successful Point in Time Count
DESCRIPTION:The North Carolina Homeless Education Program (NCHEP)\, along with the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness (NCCEH)\, is providing a virtual information session about the Point-in-Time (PIT) count and Housing Inventory Count (HIC). This is a national count conducted annually on one night in January to ascertain how many people are experiencing homelessness in our communities. Homeless liaisons are uniquely qualified to assist their communities in identifying students eligible to be included in the count. This information session will show you how to connect with the PIT count teams in your community to ensure eligible students are included in the collection.
